American Le Mans Series at Laguna Seca

Cary and I went to see the ALMS series closer at Laguna Seca. We camped out for the weekend, and also saw the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, and some Speed World Challenge GT and Touring class cars. The battle between the Porsche P2 cars and the Audi P1 cars has been raging all year and was very exciting, as was the battle between Risi Competizione Ferrari and Flying Lizard Porsche. The P2 Porsche RS Spyder is 200HP less powerful than the P1 Audi, but has a bit of a weight advantage, and so it was amazing to see it battling for the win, not only in its class, but in the overall race. It had won over the Audi several times this season, but not this time. Though they were neck and neck in both 1st and 2nd place. The Risi Competizione Ferrari F430 won over the Flying Lizard Porsche 911s.
